In keeping with its current policy regarding board membership, the
Foundation invites agencies and organizations from within the addictions field to nominate
persons for board membership. Some of the general membership criteria to be considered by
the board include: experience and service in the field, geographic representation in the
state, race, gender, and whether the individual can devote the time needed for a full four
year term. To nominate a person for membership, the agency head should send a letter
covering the above criteria, plus the name, address and telephone number and other special
qualities he or she feels the nominee has to:
