Alcohol And Drug Unit |

The Fetal Alcohol and
Drug Unit is a research unit dedicated to the prevention,
intervention and treatment of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) and Fetal
Alcohol Effects (FAE). Our main goals are to conduct research on
fetal alcohol and drug effects across the life span, to disseminate
information on fetal alcohol and drug effects, to provide
consultation for persons of any age thought to be affected by
prenatal exposure to alcohol, and to provide training in human
behavioral teratology. |

Higher Education Center for Alcohol & Other Drug Prevention |

The Higher Education Center for Alcohol and Other
Drug Prevention serves as the nation's primary resource for
institutions of higher education concerned with reducing alcohol and
other drug use. Funded by the U.S. Department of Education with
supplemental funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the
Center offers technical assistance, publications, and other
information to assist those who want to take an active part in
changing the environment in which college students make decisions
about alcohol and other drug use.

IDAP (Institute for Drug and Alcohol Prevention) is
the developer of the CALL (Community Action Life Line) audio
information program. CALL is an automated voice messaging
program with hundreds of substance abuse and related messages,
including 35 from the Partnership for a Drug-Free America.

GWC is a producer/distributor of alcohol drug
education & training videos for behavioral health, hospitals,
treatment centers, criminal justice, probation and parole, law
enforcement and the workplace. Our materials are targeted,
current, and cover the latest issues concerning addiction, treatment
and lifeskills training. GWC is home to the National
Conference on Addiction & Criminal Behavior.

Alcoholism (NIAAA), National Institutes of Health, is the primary
organization funding research into the causes, consequences, and

exhibit will feature research grant information, research
publications, and tools to assist researchers, such as the ETOH
database, the world’s largest online bibliographic database on
alcohol research.
