North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board (NCSAPPB) Credit
This credit is for substance use disorder/addictions professionals who have the license of CSAC, LCAS, CCS, and CSAPC. Sixty (60) hours of continuing education is required with 30 hours being Substance Abuse Specific (SAS). Three hours must be in ethics and 6 hours on HIV/AIDS/STDS. All training must be approved by the board. The approval number will be on your certificate.
Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) Credit
This credit is for rehabilitation counselors (CRCs, CCRC, CRC-MASs, etc.) who require this pre-approved credit for credentialing. The approval number will be on your certificate.
All participants receive contact hours upon completion of the program. Virtually all licensure boards accept contact hours including social work, nursing, counseling, marriage and family therapy, etc.

National Board Certified Counselors (NBCC) Credit
The North Carolina Foundation for Alcohol and Drug Studies (NCFADS) has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider , ACEP # 5673. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. NCFADS is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs. As a minimum, each individual schedule should be comprised of a curriculum Main Track. Participants must attend all track classes to receive the Track maximum hours. NBCC is also appropriate for those seeking LPC credits.
