Biography

Graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. After spending a few years in the workforce, Joe returned to school and later graduated from Campbell University School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences with his Doctorate of Pharmacy in 2011. During this time, he also earned his MBA from Campbell University’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business. With a goal of pharmacy ownership, Joe began working at an independent pharmacy where he was able to better understand the current retail pharmacy climate. In 2015 he was able to purchase his first pharmacy, Brisson Drugs in St Pauls, NC. With an interest in growth, along with the help of his staff, Joe was able to create their “MedSmart” program which is their signature means of delivering the best care possible. Their unique method of logistical planning and physician networking has created a more streamlined approach to delivering care to those that need it most. This growth has allowed for the expansion of the business, acquiring Clinic Pharmacy in Hope Mills, NC in the beginning of 2018. With a focus on excellent patient service and short wait times, Clinic Pharmacy has strengthened the overall level of care the organization has to offer.  He serves as a member of the Southeastern Health Foundation Board of Directors and the Southeastern Health Young Advocates.
